What Is Strand Woven Bamboo Flooring?
Strand woven bamboo flooring is made by compressing bamboo strips under high pressure using heat-sensitive adhesive with a low VOC content. Bamboo stems are split, cut into separate strands and melted under a cold pressure of 2500 tons. After curing, the block in the flooring is cut into slices according to the T + G system and coated.
Wicker bamboo is conditioned by soaking it with boric acid. We put the cut bamboo in containers with boric acid, living cells absorb boric acid and then make it parasitic in all bamboo cells. As soon as boric acid has penetrated the cells, they dry them. When they are completely dry, they compress the whole pile and press the fibers together with the glue.
The density of strand woven bamboo is more than 1100 kg / m3 and twice as strong as oak. Stretched bamboo floors from strands are extremely exotic and have a rich appearance - due to the "woven" process, the consistency found in the "traditional" styles of bamboo is completely eliminated.
Strand woven bamboo flooring is particularly suitable for wear in residential and commercial areas with heavy traffic but is good enough for installation in the most beautiful homes.
