How to prevent deformation of outdoor bamboo decking flooring?

Outdoor bamboo decking flooring is an environmentally friendly and practical building material. It is widely used in courtyards, terraces, park plank roads and other scenes. - **Pay attention to moisture content**: The moisture content of bamboo flooring boards should be adapted to local climatic conditions, generally between 8%-15%. Appropriate moisture content can reduce deformation caused by changes in environmental humidity.

2. Construction and installation of bamboo decking

- **Drainage system**: An effective drainage system is set up under the bamboo flooring to remove accumulated water in time and reduce the risk of deformation of the bamboo flooring due to long-term immersion.

- **Fixation method**: Use professional tools and materials (such as floor nails or special glue) to fix the bamboo flooring to ensure that the floor is firmly installed.

3. Daily maintenance of bamboo decking flooring

- **Regular cleaning**: Regularly clean the dust, debris and accumulated water on the bamboo flooring surface to avoid accumulation of debris or long-term retention of water.

- **Moisture and sun protection**: In wet seasons or rainy days, clean up accumulated water in time; in areas exposed to direct sunlight, awnings or canopies can be used for protection.

- **Maintenance cycle**: It is recommended to perform the first maintenance after installation, the second maintenance 6 months, and then once a year.

- **Surface treatment**: Regularly apply waterproofing agent, water-based oil or special protective paint to enhance the waterproof and wear resistance of the bamboo flooring.

- **Avoid heavy object impact**: When moving heavy objects on the bamboo flooring, use pulleys or mats to avoid scratches or impacts on the floor.
